Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
  • Prepare employment letters, HR documents, reports, and other official correspondence.
  • Monitor staff attendance, leave, lateness, and other employee-related records.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and provide relevant employee information when required.
  • Support employee onboarding, orientation, training, and exit processes.
  • Handle staff inquiries and assist with HR policies and administrative matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HR procedures, and applicable labour regulations.
  • Coordinate office supplies, equipment, maintenance, and general administrative activities.
  • Manage office documentation, filing, correspondence, and record-keeping.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and other internal activities where required.
  • Assist in organizing staff meetings, training sessions, and company events.
  • Support performance management, staff welfare, and employee engagement activities.
  • Prepare periodic HR and administrative reports for management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of an HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, administration, or a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and administrative procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws is an added advantage.
  • CIPM, SHRM, or other relevant HR certification is an added advantage.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
