CMED Private Limited is seeking highly motivated Graduate Trainees to join our Information Communication Technology team. The candidates will undergo an intensive 24-month Graduate Trainee Development programme. The positions are based at Head Office, Harare but may include rotation in various departments and locations

Duties and Responsibilities

i. Delivering first-line technical support and resolve ICT-related issues
ii. Supporting the maintenance of networks, systems, and ICT infrastructure.
iii. Assisting in the implementation and support of transport and business applications.
iv. Maintaining ICT assets, documentation, and system records.
v. Contributing to cybersecurity, data backup, and compliance activities.
vi. Participating in ICT projects, innovation initiatives, and digital transformation programmes.
vii. Monitoring system performance and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

i. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or an equivalent ICT-related qualification from a recognized institution.
• A minimum degree classification of Upper econd Class (2.1).
• Graduated within the last two (2) years.
ii. Demonstrable passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.

Skills & Attributes/ Competencies
i. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
ii. High level of integrity, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
iii. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
iv. Understanding of ICT support, troubleshooting, and systems administration.
v. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
vi. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
