• Job Description

Casela - Sport Center (SPARC) is looking for a Fitness Attendant who will be responsible for providing guidance and support to gym members.

Being in this role, you will be involved but not limited to:

• Fitness Instruction
• Conduct fitness assessments and create personalized workout plans for members
• Lead group fitness classes and provide instruction on proper exercise techniques
• Offer one-on-one coaching to help members achieve their fitness goals
• Equipment Maintenance
• Ensure all gym equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order
• Perform regular inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues to management
• Member Support
• Greet members and provide assistance as needed
• Educate members on gym policies and procedures
• Address member questions or concerns in a professional and friendly manner
• Safety and Cleanliness
• Monitor gym activities to ensure a safe environment for all members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in workout areas and common spaces
• Enforce health and safety protocols, including cleaning equipment after use
• Promotional Activities
• Participate in gym events and promotions to engage members
• Provide information on additional services, classes, or personal training options
• Candidate profile
• Previous experience as a gym coach or fitness attendant is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in fitness training or a related field is preferred

• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, fitness principles, and equipment usage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
