Our client is seeking a Credit Control Officer to manage credit operations, monitor customer accounts, and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, follow up on overdue accounts, perform reconciliations, and support effective credit risk management to improve cash flow.

• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
• Follow up with customers on overdue invoices and outstanding debts.
• Prepare and issue payment reminders, statements, and collection reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and credit transactions.
• Assess customer credit applications and recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Liaise with sales, finance, and other departments to resolve credit-related issues.
• Prepare regular reports on collections, outstanding debts, and credit performance.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
• Support strategies to improve cash flow and minimize bad debts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable preferably in a health care setup.
• Strong understanding of credit management and debt recovery processes.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential financial information.
