Crane Driver/Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate different types of cranes, including overhead cranes, mobile cranes, and other lifting equipment, according to operational requirements.
• Perform lifting, loading, unloading, and positioning of heavy materials and equipment safely and accurately.
• Conduct daily inspections of crane equipment before operation and report any faults, defects, or safety concerns.
• Follow lifting plans, safety procedures, and company policies to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
• Ensure proper use of lifting accessories such as slings, hooks, chains, and shackles.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, riggers, and ground personnel during lifting operations.
• Maintain accurate operational records, including equipment checks and maintenance reports.
• Carry out basic cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance of crane equipment.
• Immediately stop operations in case of unsafe conditions or equipment malfunction.
• Support site safety requirements and comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
