What you’ll do

You'll provide high-quality counselling and therapy to couples, families and individuals to address the issues impacting their relationships. This can include general conflict, communication, domestic violence, mental health, addiction issues and child-protection. You'll use a Family Systems Framework in your counselling and provide information and referrals to improve the wellbeing of your clients.

The details

  • Permanent role
  • 3 days per week, Wednesday to Friday
  • Based in Sydney City
  • Approx $50 - $56 per hour (depending on skills & experience) + 12% super, 17.5% leave loading and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900. (Increase your take home pay! Calculate Your Savings here)
  • Excellent professional development & regular clinical supervision

What you'll bring

  • Experience working with couples and families using a robust Family Systems clinical framework is required
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or equivalent
  • Post-grad qualifications or training in Counselling or Couple and Family Therapy
  • Strong understanding of family dynamics, child protection, domestic violence, mental health, and addiction
  • A calm, professional and compassionate approach when engaging with clients
