Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant posts which have arisen at Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council in Matabeleland South Province.
POST: Community Based Distributor x1
LOCATION OF POST
- Insiza District.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assesses community MCH/FP needs and identifies appropriate activities to address these needs on a regular basis.- Liaises and plans with other community workers on activities related to community needs in their catchment area regularly.- Designs and follows up the work programme to ensure all clients are given quality family planning services.- Gives information and counsels clients on family planning, maternal child health, STI/HIV/AIDS/YAS, sanitation and hygiene to target groups of men, women and parents in the community daily.- Recruits and maintains clients for family planning and maternal child health using a door-to-door approach on a regular basis.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 O’ Levels including English Language.- Community Based Distributor training after recruitment.
