CASUAL SECURITY GUARDS (106)Description Casual Security Guards for Bindura University of Science Education

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide security services for University premises, staff, students, visitors, and property.

Control access to University buildings and facilities by checking identification and authorizing entry.

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and prevent security breaches.

Monitor and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and security incidents.

Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and incidents in accordance with established procedures.

Prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unlawful activities.

Assist in crowd control during University events and functions.

Enforce University security policies, rules, and regulations.

Maintain accurate occurrence books and incident reports.

Perform gate control duties, including vehicle and pedestrian inspections where necessary.

Assist emergency services when required.

Carry out any other security-related duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications And Experience At least five (3) Ordinary Level passes, including English Language.

Previous experience in security services

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physically fit and medically capable of performing security duties.

Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and night duty.

Ability to write clear and accurate reports.

Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.Skills Honest, trustworthy, and of high integrity.

Alert and observant.

Disciplined and dependable.

Able to remain calm under pressure.

Professional in appearance and conduct.

A team player with good customer service skills.
