- Job Summary
ACADES Malawi is seeking a Communications Manager responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, managing organisational visibility, producing quality content, and strengthening engagement with stakeholders, partners, donors, and the public.
- Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement ACADES’ communications and visibility strategy to strengthen organisational brand and visibility.
Produce and manage high-quality content across digital and traditional platforms including websites, social media, newsletters, publications, and multimedia.
Lead media, donor, partner, and stakeholder communications while ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity.
Support fundraising and programme teams with communications, branding, and proposal development.
Monitor communication performance and prepare analytical reports.
Supervise communications staff, consultants, and service providers.
Develop creative communication materials that support organisational objectives.
- Requirements
- Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
At least four (4) years’ relevant communications experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
Experience working in an NGO, development, or public sector environment is highly desirable.
Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and digital communication skills.
Creative, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
Experience in graphic design and production of visual communication materials is an added advantage.
