• Background

The Malawi Enterprise Development Fund Limited (MEDF) is a government-owned microfinance institution whose mission is to economically empower ordinary and underserved Malawians, particularly women, youth, and persons with disabilities, through the provision of quality, affordable, and sustainable microfinance services.

• Reporting to: Procurement and Asset Disposal Manager (MF3)
• Job Purpose
• Participate in development of procurement and asset disposal policies and plans
• Liaise with user departments on procurement of goods, works, and services
• Prepare tender and contract documents
• Facilitate tender openings and evaluations
• Prepare bid evaluation reports for IPC
• Inspect goods and ensure compliance with specifications
• Conduct market research on pricing and suppliers
• Description

To provide effective procurement and asset disposal services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management obtained from an NCHE accredited institution

Master’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management obtained from an NCHE accredited institution

• Experience
• Three (3) years of work experience at a similar level
