Job Description

Responsibilities:

Market research strategy:

  • Identify new opportunities: new specialties, underserved areas, telemedicine, diagnostics, insurance partnerships
  • Analyze competitors, patient needs, funding trends, and health policies
  • Spot gaps: e.g., "Lagos mainland needs more dialysis centers" or "corporates need annual staff health checks"


Partnerships and relationship building:

  • Build ties with HMOs, insurance companies, NGOs, government agencies, and corporate clients for staff health plans
  • Partner with pharmacies, labs, hospitals for referrals and service agreements
  • Collaborate with international donors, NGOs, and health programs for grants/projects


Sales and revenue growth:

  • Pitch hospital services, medical devices, health tech platforms, or pharma products to clinics, schools, companies
  • Negotiate contracts with HMOs, employers, and suppliers
  • Drive adoption of new services: e.g. launching a new radiology unit or telehealth app


Product/service development

  • Work with doctors and ops teams to design new service packages: maternity bundles, chronic care programs, wellness screenings
  • Help adapt offerings to meet NAFDAC, NHIA, and other regulatory requirements


Brand and community engagement:

  • Organize health outreaches, medical fairs, and CSR programs to build trust
  • Represent the organization at health conferences, with government, and with stakeholders
  • Educate the market about new treatments, tech, or preventive care


Compliance and data:

  • Ensure all partnerships and marketing follow medical ethics + health regulations
  • Track KPIs: patient volume, revenue, partnership ROI, and report to leadership


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience
  • A minimum of a degree in a related field
  • Strong networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Good understanding of healthcare systems and industry practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to support informed decision-making.
