Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate bid and tender opportunities.
- Review bid invitations, scopes of work, drawings, and technical specifications to understand tender/bid requirements and develop a responsibility matrix.
- Collaborate with other departments (engineering, procurement, finance, HSE, and project execution teams) for bid preparation and submission.
- Develop competitive bid strategies, pricing, and proposal structures.
- Coordinate vendor pre-qualification exercises.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations and source technical partners where required.
- Prepare, compile, review, and submit complete tender documentation.
- Manage NIPEX bid submissions and other client procurement portals.
- Utilize e-procurement platforms such as ARIBA, SMART GEP, and similar systems.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian oil and gas regulatory requirements, including NUPRC, NOGIC, NCEC, and other relevant certifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely submissions.
Requirements:
- The prospective candidate must be experienced in bid and tender management within the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline (or a Science background with knowledge of supply chain/business analysis).
- Minimum of 5 years of working background in bidding, tendering, or proposal writing within EPC, operations and maintenance services in oil and gas fields.
- Strong background in cost estimation, reading blueprints/drawings, and risk assessment.
- High literacy in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), proficiency in ERP systems (NIPEX, SAP-ARIBA, SMART GEP, etc.), and industry-specific estimating and e-tendering/e-procurement tools.
- Excellent writing, strict time management, organization, and communication skills to handle high-pressure deadlines.
Remuneration: NGN 400,000 – N700,000 (based on experience)
