VACANCY – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

RANDSON LIMITED

Location: Warri, Delta State / Abuja, FCT

Employment Type: Full-Time Remote Employment

Reports To: Managing Director

1.  About RANDSON LIMITED

RANDSON LIMITED is an engineering and general contracting company providing services to clients across the Oil & Gas, Freight Services, Energy, Engineering, Procurement, Power, ICT/Telecommunications and Government contracting sectors.

As part of our business expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executives in Warri, Abuja, Owerri, Onitsha, and each state capital in Nigeria to join our team.

2.  Job Title: Business Development Executive

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, generating leads, monitoring tenders, preparing commercial proposals and converting opportunities into profitable contracts.

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities for RANDSON LIMITED across the Oil & Gas, EPC, Engineering, Power, ICT/Telecommunication, Procurement and Government contracting sectors.

The position will drive revenue growth by developing client relationships, monitoring tender opportunities, preparing and coordinating proposals, supporting commercial negotiations and converting qualified opportunities into profitable contracts.

RANDSON provides Oil & Gas and EPC solutions, including technical and commercial tender preparation, NIPEX-related support, electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, power systems, procurement and related technical services.


3. Key Responsibilities

A. Business Development and Market Expansion

•  Identify and develop new business opportunities within Oil & Gas, EPC, power, engineering, government and private-sector markets.

•  Consistently drive for individuals and corporate bodies to engage RANDSON LIMITED in freight services from pick ups anywhere in the world to door-to-door delivery.

•  Research potential clients, contractors, EPC companies, government agencies and project owners.

•  Consistently get new oil and gas contractors to engage RANDSON LIMITED for the preparation and packaging of their Nipex and related tenders/bids.

•  Develop and maintain a database of prospective and existing clients.

•  Monitor industry developments, upcoming projects and procurement plans.

•  Identify opportunities for RANDSON to provide engineering, procurement, consulting, tendering and technical services.

•  Develop strategies for entering new markets and expanding existing accounts.

•  Maintain a healthy business-development pipeline and provide regular pipeline forecasts.

B. Oil & Gas Tender and NIPEX Business Development

•  Monitor NIPEX, NUPRC, NCDMB, government and other relevant procurement opportunities.

•  Identify suitable RFQs, ITTs, RFPs and tender opportunities for RANDSON.

•  Review tender requirements and assess commercial and technical suitability.

•  Coordinate with the technical team to prepare compliant technical and commercial submissions.

•  Assist with preparation of expressions of interest, prequalification documents, capability statements and tender submissions.

•  Maintain a tender opportunity register showing opportunity, client, closing date, estimated value, status and next action.

•  Follow up submitted tenders and maintain communication with clients and procurement personnel.

•  Support RANDSON's tender and bid-packaging services for third-party clients.

C. Client Relationship Management

•  Develop professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.

•  Schedule client meetings and company presentations.

•  Understand client requirements and identify appropriate RANDSON solutions.

•  Maintain regular contact with procurement, engineering, operations, project and commercial personnel.

•  Follow up quotations, proposals and tender submissions.

•  Resolve client concerns by coordinating with the appropriate internal team.

•  Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities.

D. Technical-Commercial Proposals

•  Prepare company capability presentations and commercial proposals.

•  Coordinate technical input from engineering personnel.

•  Prepare quotations, budgets and commercial submissions in accordance with company procedures.

•  Ensure proposals clearly demonstrate RANDSON's technical capability, experience and value proposition.

•  Assist in developing project methodologies, execution plans and commercial assumptions where required.

•  Review proposals before submission to ensure completeness and compliance.

E. Sales and Revenue Generation

•  Develop and execute monthly and annual business-development targets.

•  Generate qualified leads and convert leads into contracts.

•  Prepare sales forecasts and revenue projections.

•  Track quotations and opportunities from initial contact through contract award.

•  Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities among existing clients.

•  Support management in developing pricing and commercial strategies.

•  Negotiate with clients within approved company authority.


F. Strategic Partnerships

•  Identify competent local and international technical partners.

•  Develop relationships with OEMs, engineering companies, EPC contractors, consultants and specialist service providers.

•  Support RANDSON in sourcing overseas technical partners for projects requiring specialized technology or expertise.

•  Develop subcontractor and strategic-partner networks that strengthen RANDSON's ability to execute projects.

G. Project Handover

Once a contract is secured, the Business Development Executive shall:

•  Ensure proper handover from Business Development to Project/Operations.

•  Provide the project team with the approved scope, quotation, client requirements and commercial commitments.

•  Participate in kick-off meetings where required.

•  Maintain client communication during project mobilization.

•  Support the project team in identifying additional opportunities and variations.

4.  Qualifications & Experience

•  B.Sc or HND from recognized institution, preferred are in Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Procurement or a related discipline.

•  Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, Tendering, Engineering Services, Procurement or Oil & Gas.

•  Experience in the Nigerian Oil & Gas/EPC industry, Freight and Logistics is highly desirable.

•  Knowledge of NIPEX, NUPRC, NCDMB and Nigerian Oil & Gas procurement processes will be an advantage.

•  Experience preparing RFQs, RFPs, ITTs, quotations and technical-commercial proposals is preferred.

•  Professional certification in Business Development, Sales, Procurement, Project Management or a related field will be an advantage.

11.  Authority

The Business Development Executive may:

•  Contact prospective and existing clients on behalf of RANDSON.

•  Attend business meetings and industry events.

•  Obtain RFQs and tender documents.

•  Prepare business-development proposals and presentations.

•  Coordinate internal proposal preparation.

•  Submit commercial recommendations to management.

The Executive shall not commit RANDSON to contractual, financial or technical obligations without the appropriate management approval.

12.  Expected Outcome

The Business Development Executive is expected to contribute directly to RANDSON LIMITED's growth by:

13.  Performance Review

Performance shall be reviewed monthly and formally every six months based on agreed business-development, sales, tender-conversion, client-retention and profitability KPIs.


14.  Remuneration

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Additional benefits: Performance-based incentives/commission may apply, subject to the company's approved remuneration structure.
