- VACANCIES: BARTENDERS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill positions of Bartenders tenable in various Sunbird Hotels across the country.
- Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar setup for every shift.
Requisition beverage stocks, condiments, and operating equipment in accordance with set par levels.
Welcome guests warmly, present drink and food menus, offer tailored recommendations, and take orders accurately.
Prepare and serve drinks and food items while adhering to premium mixology and service standards.
Process guest billing efficiently and participate in regular stock counts and inventory management.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, skills, competences and attributes desired:
Certificate in Food and Beverage Services from an institution recognized by NCHE.
A full Malawi School Certificate of Education.
2 years’ experience in a busy Hotel bar.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of mixology and beverage service standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for customer service.
