Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Management and Auditing
    • Conduct approval and routine supplier audits to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and company requirements.
    • Ensure all approved suppliers, including food, beverage, packaging, merchandise, and lifestyle product suppliers, comply with applicable regulatory, quality, packaging, and company standards to safeguard product integrity and brand reputation.
    • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, working closely with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues, defects, and non-conformances.
    • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement in quality, compliance, and operational performance.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance
    • Conduct product safety and quality reviews on supplier documentation (e.g., QAP, product specifications, Certificates of Analysis, testing reports, quality control protocols, declarations of conformity, and other supporting documents), ensuring validity and compliance.
    • Address food safety, quality, regulatory, and product compliance concerns with suppliers to safeguard organizational requirements.
    • Monitor compliance with applicable standards and regulations, including FSSC 22000, HACCP, FDA/EU food contact requirements, packaging regulations, consumer product safety requirements, and other relevant local and international regulations, where applicable.
  • Product Innovation and Development Support
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate new products, ensuring product safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and operational feasibility.
    • Conduct and coordinate quality evaluations and testing for food, beverages, packaging materials, merchandise, lifestyle products, and other retail-related items to ensure safety, quality, functionality, and consistency.
    • Provide quality and compliance risk assessments during new product development, supplier selection, and sourcing decisions.
  • Supplier Performance Scoreboard
    • Prepare and maintain supplier performance reports, including audit findings, non-conformance reports, incident tracking and corrective action plans.
    • Analyze trends in product quality, complaints, incidents, and supplier performance, and work with suppliers to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
    • Maintain and continuously improve the Supplier Performance Scoreboard.
  • Product Incident Management
    • Manage product incidents, customer complaints, product withdrawals, and recalls related to food, beverages, packaging, merchandise, and lifestyle products supplied for retail operations.
    • Escalate product quality and compliance incidents to suppliers in a timely manner, review root cause analyses and corrective action reports, and maintain accurate incident records.
    • Drive the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence and improve supplier performance.
  • Packaging, Merchandise & Lifestyle Governance
    • Develop, implement, and govern quality and compliance requirements for packaging materials, merchandise, and lifestyle products supplied for retail operations.
    • Ensure packaging, merchandise, and lifestyle products comply with applicable regulatory, safety, quality, labeling, and company requirements prior to commercialization.
    • Review product specifications, artwork, technical documentation, declarations, and test reports to ensure compliance with company standards.
    • Conduct supplier qualification, risk assessments, audit and periodic performance reviews for packaging, merchandise, and lifestyle product suppliers.
    • Support investigations and resolution of quality, safety, or compliance issues related to packaging, merchandise, and lifestyle products, including implementation of CAPA where required.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine outlet audits to ensure compliance with retail operational workflows, procedures, food safety, quality, and company requirements.
