Position: Assistant lecturer (Gender and Development)

Duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Teach up to NTA level 8, which is equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree level.
• Prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises.
• Conduct research, seminars, and case studies.
• Carry out consultancy and community services under supervision.
• Supervise students’ projects.
• Prepare teaching manuals.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be a holder of both Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
  • Gender and Development
  • Gender Studies
  • Gender and Human Rights
• The degrees must be from recognized institutions.
• Applicants must have a GPA of 3.8 or above at Master’s Degree level.
• Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or above at Bachelor’s Degree level.

Remuneration

The successful candidate will be paid according to the following salary scale:
