AKES, T is seeking a qualified and dedicated Science Subject Teacher specializing in Biology and Chemistry to join our academic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology and Chemistry according to the National Curriculum from Form One to Form Four.
- Conduct and supervise practical lessons and laboratory experiments related to both subjects.
- Prepare students for candidate classes and national examinations with a strong focus on performance.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and revision programs to support student achievement.
- Maintain proper use, safety, and organization of the science laboratories.
The requirements
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification majoring in Biology and Chemistry.
- 3–4 years of proven teaching experience at secondary school level.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching candidate classes with good national examination results.
- Valid Laboratory Technician Certificate in Biology and Chemistry (added advantage)
- Strong practical skills and ability to manage laboratory activities effectively.
- Good communication skills and a passion for student success.
