The purpose of this role is to support HR core/essential work for an area requiring senior professional knowledge.
Employees at this level work under minimal supervision, have comprehensive working knowledge, and handle complex issues and problems.
Responsibilities
- Perform intake meetings with managers to discuss with managers to discuss their job requirements, interview processes and potential candidates.
- Screen and interview candidates, assess their qualifications, and recommend them to hiring managers.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage the hiring process.
- Communicate with hiring managers, HR, and other stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
- Support administrative processes such as interview scheduling, administration of pre-hiring assessments, preboarding processes etc.
- Training and support hiring managers and HR on our Talent Acquisition processes, Tools and Best practices.
- Communicate recuring trainings and best practices to stakeholders throughout the recruiting process.
- Use applicant tracking system (Oracle) to manage the hiring process.
- Communicate the Talent Acquisition guidelines and principles to the stakeholders.
- Workforce relations dispute resolution processes.
- Operational risk and ad hoc reporting.
- Exit interviews, administration and reporting.
- Legal review of employment separations, training and workforce relations investigations.
- HR Policy administration and guiding principles interpretation.
Required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a member of the Church and worthy of a temple recommend.
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years professional experience or any combination of equivalent education and work experience.
- Master’s degree in a related field and Certification in HR preferred.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of HR operations, specifically Talent Acquisition.
- Familiarity of best practices of HR functions.
- Key skills and core competencies include the ability to: Build relationships, consult with business leaders, deliver excellent customer service, Coach and develop employees & people managers. Analyze and interpret data, utilize applicant tracking systems and Microsoft office programs effectively & communicate effectively in writing and verbally through influence and compromise.
- To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment.
