Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense claims.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Manage petty cash and maintain accurate reconciliation records.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and statutory remittances, including PAYE, Pension, VAT, and Withholding Tax (WHT).
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required financial documentation.
  • Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the office.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial, operational, and personnel records.
  • Prepare business correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and office logistics.
  • Manage office supplies and oversee procurement of administrative materials.
  • Ensure office equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
  • Maintain accurate employee attendance, leave, and administrative records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Safeguard confidential financial and administrative information.
  • Maintain proper documentation of company assets and inventory.
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers for quotations, purchases, and payments.
  • Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain vendor records and support procurement processes.
  • Monitor office expenditure and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly administrative and financial reports.
  • Provide administrative support to management and other departments.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven years of experience in an accounting, finance, or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems.
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory remittances.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
