Accountant

Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance:

• Record daily financial transactions (cash, bank, expenses, petty cash).
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and simple financial reports.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and maintaining ledgers.
• Support the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial summaries for management.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and receipts.

Customer Service / Client Relations:

• Receive and attend to walk-in clients, visitors, and suppliers professionally.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and basic client enquiries.
• Provide courteous and timely information to customers about services, projects, and appointments.
• Escalate complex client issues to the appropriate team members.

Office Administration / Assistant Duties:

• Maintain an organized and clean office environment.
• Manage office supplies, stationery, and basic logistics.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Support the preparation and typing of letters, reports, and other documents.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in accounting, customer service, or office administration (experience in a construction or similar environment is an advantage).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good personal presentation, confident and professional demeanor.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, work under minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks.
