Field Loan Officer

Customer acquisition

• Visit assigned markets every working day.
• Identify traders, artisans, SMEs and other eligible customers.
• Explain Seven Stone Capital's loan products, terms, fees and repayment obligations.
• Build a pipeline of prospective borrowers.
• Register qualified prospects.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers for repeat borrowing.

Loan application

The officer will:

• Obtain completed loan applications.
• Collect required customer identification and business information.
• Collect photographs and other required documentation.
• Verify the customer's business location.
• Confirm that the applicant actually operates the stated business.
• Obtain required guarantor information where applicable.
• Submit applications for credit assessment.

C. Customer verification

The officer must conduct basic field verification, including:

• Business existence.
• Business location.
• Nature of business.
• Approximate business turnover.
• Length of time in business.
• Existing loan obligations.
• Ability to meet the proposed repayment schedule.

D. Portfolio monitoring

After disbursement:

• Maintain regular contact with borrowers.
• Remind customers of upcoming repayments.
• Monitor customers showing signs of repayment difficulty.
• Report delinquent accounts immediately.
• Assist the collections team with customer contact and location verification.

E. Reporting

Every officer should submit a daily field report showing:

• Markets visited.
• Number of prospects contacted.
• New customers registered.
• Applications collected.
• Applications approved.
• Amount disbursed.
• Amount collected.
• Outstanding repayments.
• Delinquent customers.
• New leads for follow-up.
