We are recruiting!
Our client in Maputo is looking for a Hydraulic Crane Operator to join their team within the Mining Sector.
- Responsibilities
Control levers and pedals to lift, position, and transport heavy loads with precision.
Conduct pre-operation checks on hydraulic systems, cables, brakes, and safety devices.
Calculate lifting capacities, angles, and weight limits to prevent tipping or overloading.
Use standard hand signals or radios to coordinate movements with signalpersons and ground teams.
Handle routine servicing like lubrication and report major mechanical faults promptly.
- Requirements
Valid crane operator license or certification (such as NCCCO or local equivalent).
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of verified crane operating experience in construction, mining, or industrial settings.
Strong depth perception, hand-eye coordination, and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to pass medical/drug checks, work at heights, and adhere to strict safety regulations.
