What is a CV database?
A CV database is where a company keeps every CV it has received, even the ones not attached to any open vacancy. It differs from a folder of files in that each CV is a record with separate fields — name, email, phone, field of work — that can be searched and filtered, and in that the information is still there months later, when the next search opens.
Including the ones not attached to any role
Most systems only let you reach a candidate through the vacancy they applied to. In Saplic, the CV bank shows your company's full pool, including candidates who are not in any process: the one who sent a CV over WhatsApp, the one who left a printout at reception and the one who came second in a search eight months ago.
Tags and field of work, so you can find them again
Every candidate can be tagged with tags you define and classified by field of work. That is what turns a pile of PDFs into something you can query: when a new vacancy opens you search by tag or by field instead of posting again from scratch.
Your whole team searches the whole pool
The CV bank shows the whole pool to the whole team: anyone with access to the module searches every record in the company, no matter who uploaded it. It is the only screen that does not apply the per-owner visibility filter, and that is deliberate: the pool belongs to the company, and filtering it would hide precisely the candidate who is not in any role, which is the one this screen exists to rescue.
Where the files are kept

How many CVs can I store in Saplic?
There is no limit. The Saplic CV database sets no cap on the number of stored candidates and does not charge by volume.
Can I store the CV of someone who did not apply to any vacancy?
Yes. The Saplic CV bank shows the company's full pool, including candidates who are not in any selection process. A CV that arrived over WhatsApp or on paper is uploaded the same way and becomes searchable.
Do the CVs I upload appear on the public job board?
No. The CVs your company uploads to Saplic are kept in private storage, linked only to your account. They do not appear in the public Saplic job board and are not visible to other companies.
How do I find a candidate months later?
In Saplic every candidate can be tagged with tags you define and classified by field of work, and the CV bank filters on those two criteria as well as the name. Search runs on the record fields — name, email, phone, field and tags — not on the text inside the PDF file.
