Blossom Human Resources is recruiting Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys for a Confidential client, a collaborative, remote-first California defense firm with several openings. The role is 100% remote with no mandatory office days. Experienced comp attorneys are welcome, and so are civil litigators moving into workers' comp: the firm runs a comprehensive training program.
What you'll do: handle cases from initial setup through resolution and appeal; value cases early and often so clients can choose to settle or litigate; collaborate with partners and associates on strategy; build strong relationships with adjusters and clients; and meet a 220-hour monthly billable target, with significant bonus opportunity above it.
Must-haves: an active California State Bar license, at least 1 year of workers' compensation defense, civil litigation or insurance defense experience, a JD from an accredited law school, strong client-facing communication, a client-first approach to billing, a stable work history, and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
Bonuses for billing above target and for generating new files. One conversational interview with a partner and a colleague. Our service is always free for candidates.
