Responsibilities:

On-Air Presentation:

• Anchor news bulletins, current affairs, and live programs
• Deliver news with clarity, authority, and professionalism
• Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and newsmakers

Content & Research:

• Research stories, prepare scripts, and work with the editorial team
• Ensure accuracy, balance, and compliance with broadcast standards
• Engage viewers through compelling storytelling

Brand Representation:

• Represent the station professionally at events and public engagements
• Collaborate with producers, editors, and reporters for seamless broadcasts
• Contribute to digital/social media content

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on current affairs, politics, and trends
• Maintain excellent on-screen appearance and voice modulation

Requirements:

• Degree in Mass Communication, Theatre Arts, English, Linguistics, Literature, or related field required
• Previous on-air/TV presenting experience is an advantage
• Excellent spoken English and communication skills
• Strong news reading, interviewing, and ad-libbing ability
• Good camera presence and confidence under pressure
• Professional, intelligent, presentable, and articulate
• Must be available for shifts including weekends and breaking news
