The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment and delivering a seamless, engaging hiring experience that supports business growth and enhances our employer brand.
The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment and delivering a seamless, engaging hiring experience that supports business growth and enhances our employer brand. This role partners closely with Hiring Managers and other stakeholders to attract, assess, and secure top talent while promoting inclusive and forward-thinking recruitment practices.
- Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle by partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, advertising vacancies, screening applications, coordinating interviews, preparing offers, and overseeing all pre-employment activities.
Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, employee referrals, LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, career fairs, and partnerships with educational institutions to attract high-quality talent.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for business-critical and high-volume roles to support proactive workforce planning and timely hiring.
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, identify key competencies, assess candidate suitability, and strengthen interviewing and selection practices.
Develop and maintain competency-based job descriptions, interview guides, assessment tools, and evaluation criteria to ensure a consistent and objective recruitment process.
Deliver a positive candidate experience by ensuring timely communication, professionalism, and engagement throughout the recruitment journey.
Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards.
Analyze recruitment data and key performance metrics to identify trends, improve recruitment effectiveness, and support data-driven decision-making.
Plan and coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks, medical examinations, system access, welcome packages, and orientation schedules to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Partner with the Communications team to announce new hires and support employer branding initiatives across internal and external communication channels.
Prepare and submit recruitment reports and dashboards in accordance with established reporting schedules.
Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, technical institutions, and other external partners to strengthen talent pipelines.
Stay informed on recruitment best practices, labour market trends, and industry benchmarks to continuously enhance talent acquisition strategies and processes.
Support HR projects, policy development, compliance initiatives, talent management activities, and other Human Resources programs as assigned.
- Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or arelated field.
Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CIPD) is an asset.
Training in behavioral interviewing, talent acquisition strategies, or psychometric assessment toolsis an advantage.
