Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing software architectures
• Developing, deploying, and maintaining web applications, iOS and Android applications
• Assist the Center Director in his Ghana-based research related to mobile applications, blockchain, and technology

Applicant Profile:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Go, Javascript, Solidity
• Familiarity with Blockchain Systems
• Experience with AWS (ElasticBeanstalk, Fargate, EC2, S3, Route 53)
• Experience with Docker for containerization
• Experience with CI/CD setting AWS Codepipeline
• Experience designing and building distributed communication systems using REST APIs and/or gRPC
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Experience with Flutter development
• Experience in build production level applications with Golang, NodeJS and Solidity
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Solidity smart contracts in Ethereum-based environments
• Willingness to travel to work from CTED’s Research Center in Kumawu (Ashanti), as needed

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Matlab, Python and Stata
