Job Purpose

The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible to performs preventive and corrective maintenance, supports fault diagnosis and equipment improvement, and assists the Maintenance Supervisor in planning and coordinating daily maintenance activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement the preventive maintenance schedule approved by the Maintenance Supervisor. 
• Respond promptly to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical breakdowns. 
• Diagnose faults and safely restore equipment within the shortest practical time. 
• Investigate recurring equipment failures and recommend permanent corrective actions. 
• Maintain hammer mills, mixers, conveyors, elevators, screw feeders, bagging machines, compressors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and associated equipment. 
• Enforce lockout/tagout, permit-to-work, hot-work, work-at-height, and confined-space procedures where applicable. 
• Monitor critical spare-parts levels and report replenishment requirements to the Maintenance Supervisor. 
• Complete inspection sheets, maintenance checklists, and breakdown reports accurately and on time. 

Qualification and Profile

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering, 
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Interpersonal skills with a ‘Can Do’ attitude
• Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills
