Sales & Marketing (Freight Forwarding Industry)

The Sales & Marketing Executive (Freight Forwarding) will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, securing new accounts, and promoting our sea/air/land freight services. As a founding member of this department, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our market presence and building long-term relationships with shippers and consignees

Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales 

• Identify and qualify leads through cold calling, networking and market research to grow the pipeline for sea, air and land freight. 
• Convert prospects into active accounts by proposing tailored LCL, FCL, air freight and customs brokerage solutions. 
• Prepare competitive freight quotations and negotiate rates to close deals. 
• Maintain an accurate CRM and manage the sales pipeline from first contact to handover.

Marketing & Brand Positioning 

• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and industry updates to keep Boustead Shipping Agencies Sdn Bhd's services competitive. 
• Support the creation of marketing materials and social media updates to increase brand visibility and attract leads. 
• Manage post-sales touchpoints to improve satisfaction and secure repeat business.

Coordination & Strategy 

• Liaise with Operations and Pricing to ensure quotes and service delivery meet client expectations. 
• Provide regular reports on sales targets, market challenges and customer feedback to refine our sales approach.
