Duties and responsibilities

The Research officer II (Architecture) will be responsible for carrying out research-related activities, supporting project planning, and assisting in the preparation of research proposals and reports.

The duties and responsibilities include:

• Performing field data collection, computer data entry, data analysis, and gathering relevant literature.
• Undertaking specific research activities with less supervision from senior researchers or the team leader.
• Preparing and submitting manuscript drafts according to respective work plans.
• Training and supervising technicians.
• Preparing research progress reports according to the respective work plan.
• Assisting in the planning of specific research projects.
• Assisting in the preparation of fundable research proposals and consultancies.
• Performing any other official duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualification requirements:

• Holder of a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Must have scored at least Upper Second Class.
• For an unclassified Bachelor’s Degree, the applicant must have an overall minimum pass of grade B+.
