Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Review client intake forms, medical history, and contraindications before treatment.
- Conduct vein assessments and perform safe, accurate cannulation and IV line insertion.
- Administer IV therapy according to approved clinical protocols and dosage guidelines.
- Closely monitor clients throughout treatment for discomfort, infiltration, allergic reactions, or other adverse events.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to complications and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, observations, and incidents.
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection-control standards.
- Prepare, clean, and reset treatment areas between clients.
- Safely handle, store, and dispose of medical supplies and sharps.
- Educate clients on the IV process, aftercare, and post-treatment expectations.
- Provide a calm, professional, and reassuring client experience.
- Coordinate with front-desk and clinical staff to maintain efficient client flow.
- Monitor inventory and promptly report low-stock or expired supplies.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid licenseto practice in Nigeria.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on IV administration and cannulation experience.
- Ability to work confidently and independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent bedside manner and client-service skills.
- High attention to hygiene, safety, accuracy, and clinical detail.
- Ability to remain composed and effective in a busy clinical environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Experience working in an IV therapy, wellness, aesthetic, or similar clinic.
- Additional certifications related to IV therapy or patient care.
