- Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Prepare tender documentation and evaluate contractors’ bids.
Manage project costs from inception to completion.
Conduct site measurements and prepare interim valuations.
Prepare payment certificates for contractors and subcontractors.
Monitor project expenditure and prepare cost reports.
Assess and value variations, claims, and change orders.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and final accounts.
Ensure compliance with contract conditions and procurement procedures.
Provide cost advice and value engineering recommendations.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
Prepare monthly financial and project progress reports.
Identify and manage project risks related to cost and contracts.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, Electrical, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
Experience in preparing BOQs, cost planning, tendering, valuations, and final accounts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and quantity surveying software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s licence.
