Job Purpose The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily production activities to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Allocate work to production staff and monitor their performance.
• Ensure machines and equipment are operated safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of raw materials to minimize waste.
• Ensure production schedules are adhered to, and customer orders are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality procedures.
• Report equipment breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Train, coach, and motivate production staff to improve performance and productivity.
• Prepare daily production reports, including output, downtime, quality issues, and material usage.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Work closely with the Quality Control, Warehouse, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure smooth production processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory role is an added advantage.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing or a similar production environment is preferred.
