We’re looking for a creative and commercially minded Product Designer to join the Christy Ng team.

You’ll be involved in bringing new products to life, from trend research and initial concepts to design development, sampling and final production. You’ll work closely with our Product, Creative and Marketing teams to develop handbags, footwear and accessories that are stylish, functional and unmistakably Christy Ng.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Research and identify emerging fashion, colour, material and consumer trends.
• Develop original concepts and designs for handbags, footwear, accessories and other lifestyle products.
• Create design sketches, technical drawings, specifications and product development references for sampling and production.
• Develop seasonal mood boards, colour palettes, materials and design directions.
• Translate creative concepts into products that are both commercially viable and production-ready.
• Select and recommend suitable materials, colours, hardware, trims and finishes.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers throughout the sampling and product development process.
• Review prototypes and samples, providing clear feedback and amendments until the desired design, quality and functionality are achieved.
• Ensure product designs meet the brand’s standards for aesthetics, functionality, quality and target pricing.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure product collections align with upcoming campaigns, launches and brand direction.
• Analyse competitor products and market trends to identify new product opportunities and design ideas.
• Improve and refresh existing designs based on customer feedback, sales performance and market trends.
• Manage multiple product development projects and timelines simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate product specifications, design files and development records.
• Support special collections, collaborations and other product development projects when required.
