Key Responsibilities:
Competitive Sourcing Execution (RFQ and RFP).
Evaluation Coordination and Sourcing Documentation.
Evaluate credit worthiness and risks.
Purchase Order Processing and Purchase-to-pay Execution.
Supplier Onboarding and Due diligence Coordination.
Analyze risks and approve or reject loan requests.
Contract Administration and Lifecycle Support.
SEZ Documentation and Import/Export Compliance Support.
Inventory Replenishment and Stock Monitoring Support.
Supplier Delivery Coordination and Non-Conformance Administration.
Supplier Performance Data and Reporting Support.
Qualifications and Requirements:
The role requires a bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply chain Management or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
Active membership with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) with a valid practicing license is required in line with statutory requirements for procurement practitioners in Kenya.
Progress toward or completion of a professional procurement qualification such as CIPS or APICS, CSCP is considered a strong advantage. Additional certifications in inventory management, logistics, process improvement (lean or sigma), or ERP Systems are beneficial as they strengthen execution quality and operational effectiveness within a manufacturing supply chain environment.
Experience:
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant procurement and supply chain experience within a structured manufacturing or FMCG or similarly operational environment.
Demonstrable experience working in a manufacturing or FMCG operating environment.
Technical Skills:
Procurement Execution and Sourcing Skills
SEZ, Customs and Import/Export Documentation Competence.
Inventory and Supply Coordination Awareness.
