• About the role

Our dedicated kitchen team are looking for a weekend Kitchen Hand to deliver excellent service to our residents and visitors to our lovely Edgewater retirement village in Pakuranga.

This role would suit someone who is wanting to start a career in the kitchen and enjoys working as part of a team as well as working unsupervised. We offer top hours rates, weekend allowance and great staff benefits…. Read on.

• We have following vacancy working Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6.30pm = 16hrs week
• You must be available to work both weekend days
• Duties include:
• Collecting used dishes, running the dishwasher
• General cleaning in the Kitchen
• Assisting with preparation of meals
• Delivering food to our care home (within the property)
• Skills and Experience Required:
• Commercial kitchen experience (advantageous)
• Positive attitude and a strong team player
• Good time management and communication skills
• A Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate (advantageous)
