Duties and Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Corporate Administrator role based in Ebene.
* Perform day-to-day corporate administration activities of a varied portfolio of corporate structures
* Organize board meetings, prepare board packs, attend meetings, and draft minutes.
* Ensure timely filing of audited financial statements, tax returns, and annual summaries with the FSC, Registrar of Companies (ROC) and Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA)
* Handle incorporations, bank account openings and winding up
* Liaise with bank account opening, payment processing and transaction monitoring
* Keeping track of client billing and following up on accounts receivable
* Provide guidance to clients on compliance-related matters
* Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and regulatory guidelines
* Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns related to corporate secretarial matters
* Ensure all client files meet stringent KYC/CDD requirements and assist the MLRO/Compliance Officer in ongoing monitoring.
* Ad-hoc duties as and when required
Qualifications and Skills
*Degree in the relevant field (Finance/ Accounting/Management or a related field).
*Minimum 1 year of experience as a corporate administrator in the Global Business Sector.
*Strong administrative and organizational abilities, including document management, record keeping, and attention to detail.
*Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and document management tools) and comfort learning new systems.
*Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documents, emails, and reports.
*Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a corporate environment.
*Professional conduct, discretion with confidential information, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
