DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Meet production targets during shifts in relation to Refinery KPIs
- and report on any shortfall of
Sugar Production as per production planning.
Meet the sugar bagging and logistics targets during shifts and report on any shortfall of Sugar Loading as per loading planning.
Actively participate in the planning for both export and local markets.
Contribute to solving technical and organisational issues on the bagging lines.
Follow-up on any deviation in the required White Refined Sugar Specification and take and record corrective measures, in consultation with the Production Lead.
Follow and apply preventive maintenance plan by ensuring all spare equipment are tested for good operational conditions.
Ensure all operational and quality log sheets are properly filled by operators, reviewed and approved.
Process store issues for consumables and other items as and when required.
Log all stoppages and production downtime on the appropriate data capture system.
Ensure efficient sugar production process and carry out any necessary troubleshoot.
Lead a team of operators & Technicians in different unit operations.
Monitor Environmental issues during shifts.
Promote Safety and Health in accordance with Safety and Health policy in place.
Meet all Quality specifications and standards as per Refinery SOP`s.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ready to work on shift.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
Holder of SC/HSC or any other equivalent qualifications.
Holder of DUST, HND or BTS in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any other equivalent qualifications.
Experience in an industrial environment would be an advantage.
