Job Title: Jr Java Payments Engineer (L3)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Java Payments Engineer (L3) to provide application maintenance and production support for payment applications within the Client Entitlement Workflow (CEW) and Payment Data Repository (PDR) ecosystem. The successful candidate will support business-critical payment systems by monitoring application health, troubleshooting production issues, resolving incidents, and assisting with application enhancements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise payment platforms, Java microservices, and financial services technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 application maintenance and production support for payment applications.
- Monitor application performance and respond to production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system issues in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring production issues and assist in implementing permanent fixes.
- Support application deployments, releases, and post-deployment validation activities.
- Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot applications, bug fixes, and minor enhancements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Work closely with business users, infrastructure teams, and developers to ensure smooth application operations.
- Support batch jobs, file processing, and data validation activities.
- Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities as required.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards in a regulated financial environment.
