Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, peripherals, network devices, and end-user systems across the site.
- Diagnose and repair computer hardware and peripherals at module level drives, memory, power supplies, screens, keyboards, fusers and maintenance kits manage spare parts inventory, and route warranty-covered faults through OEM support channels.
- Manage and maintain CCTV and IP surveillance infrastructure, including cameras, NVRs, DVRs, storage systems, and connectivity. Perform routine health checks, troubleshoot faults, coordinate repairs, and ensure continuous system availability and security coverage.
- Support LAN, Wi-Fi, structured cabling, network troubleshooting, equipment deployment, and connectivity optimization across facilities.
- Oversee infrastructure and surveillance system installations, and supervise vendors and contractors through deployment, commissioning, testing, and final sign-off to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain relationships with local vendors, contractors, and OEM support providers. Track warranty entitlements, coordinate repairs, verify service quality, and monitor contractor performance.
- Maintain IT asset registers, system documentation, maintenance records, and provide regular reports on system uptime, repair turnaround times, coverage, and outstanding technical issues.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of proven hands-on experience in IT support, hardware repair, infrastructure maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.
- B.Sc./HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing PCs, laptops, printers, monitors, and other end-user devices.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 sufficient to diagnose end-user faults, rebuild and reimage devices, and support staff at the machine. Tenant administration and provisioning are handled centrally.
- Proven experience managing and maintaining IP CCTV systems, NVR/DVR solutions, and security monitoring infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi environments, structured cabling, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience coordinating vendors, OEM support channels, warranty claims, and third-party contractors.
- Willingness to work fully on-site in Ogun State, with occasional work outside standard hours during installations and incidents.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, MTCNA, CCTV manufacturer certifications, or related professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Additional Advantage: Mandarin language proficiency will be considered a strong advantage when supporting expatriate teams and China-sourced technology platforms.
