Role Description

The Business Services Finance Intern position is an excellent opportunity for students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced business process outsourcing (BPO) environment.

The Finance Intern supports the team in delivering accurate and timely finance services to multiple clients across various industries and countries, with exposure to Japan and other-based subsidiaries of global companies.

Working under the supervision of Senior Consultants and Managers, the intern will assist in the preparation, verification, and processing of finance-related data while learning about statutory compliance requirements and client-specific procedures.

Structured on-the-job training will be provided for Japan and other country-specific finance processes, internal systems, and operational workflows. This internship offers valuable exposure to regional finance operations, banking processes, and tax compliance activities within a consulting environment, providing a strong foundation for future career development in accounting, finance, and professional services.

Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assist in receiving, organizing, and reviewing finance documents from clients and supporting the recording of transactions in the accounting system in accordance with accounting policies and standards under supervision.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, and working schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Provide administrative and documentation support for tax filing and statutory compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support process improvement initiatives, internal projects, and other ad-hoc assignments as required.
