International School (Pearson Edexcel) – History / Geography Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Teach History and Geography in accordance with the Pearson Edexcel curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources.
• Assess, monitor, and report student progress.
• Prepare learners for internal and external examinations.
• Promote inquiry-based and learner-centered teaching approaches.
• Integrate ICT into classroom instruction.
• Participate in co-curricular and school activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student achievement.

Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma in Education.
2. Experience in IGCSE curriculum – Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel.
3. Must be TSC registered.
4. A minimum of 3 years' experience.
5. Good ICT skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and pupils.
7. Clean child protection record.
8. Excellent curriculum and classroom management knowledge & skills.
9. Experience handling candidate classes is preferable.
