We're looking for an experienced Impact & Evaluation Manager to help capture, measure and communicate that impact.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves combining research, evaluation and storytelling to demonstrate real social change. Working closely with our CEO, Creative Producers and Community Artists, you'll ensure the evidence behind our work is as powerful as the performances themselves.

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, you'll lead the implementation of our organisation-wide impact measurement and evaluation framework.

This role combines strategic thinking with practical delivery. You'll collect and analyse data, prepare reports for funders and partners, support evaluation across programs and help embed evidence-based practice throughout the organisation.

You'll also play an important role in delivering the final stages of our nationally recognised Creating Impact initiative, helping strengthen impact measurement across the Community Arts and Cultural Development sector.

Your work will include:

• Coordinating Milk Crate Theatre's Impact Measurement Framework and Theory of Change
• Collecting, analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data
• Producing impact reports, dashboards and our Annual Impact Report
• Preparing DEX reporting, grant acquittals and funder reports
• Supporting Creative Producers to embed evaluation into artistic programs
• Coordinating research and sector partnerships
• Maintaining evaluation systems, CRM data and research resources
• Helping communicate the value of our work through clear, compelling reporting and evidence

About you

You're someone who enjoys making sense of information and using evidence to improve practice. You're equally comfortable working with data, interviewing participants, writing reports and collaborating with colleagues across different disciplines.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and impact measurement
• Experience developing or implementing outcomes frameworks, program logic or Theory of Change
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research and analytical skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Confidence managing multiple priorities and working independently
• A collaborative approach and genuine curiosity about people and communities

Experience in the arts, community, health, human services or not-for-profit sectors will be highly regarded, but we're equally interested in transferable evaluation expertise from aligned fields.
