Job Description
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the ICT team, including assigning duties, supervising performance, coordinating workloads and ensuring timely delivery of ICT services.
Oversee the day-to-day ICT operations of the organization, including computers, networks, servers, systems, software and other IT infrastructure.
Maintain and troubleshoot ICT systems and equipment to ensure reliable, secure and efficient operations.
Ensure ICT security, data protection and confidentiality across all systems, networks and company information.
Manage data backup and recovery processes including regular testing to ensure business continuity.
Train and guide on the effective and secure use of systems and technology.
Manage ICT resources, vendors, software licenses and equipment, ensuring efficient use of technology resources.
Advise on ICT strategy, upgrades and improvements.
Oversee the implementation and rollout of new systems, applications and technology solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity
or a related field from a recognised institution.
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in ICT, preferably with experience in a team leadership role.
Professional ICT certifications will be an added advantage.
Proven experience in ICT infrastructure, network administration, systems administration, cybersecurity and technical support.
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and coordinate ICT projects and operations.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
