History, Geography and Tourism Teacher FET(Gr 10 to 12)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate FET phase Tourism, History and Geography teacher who believes in the power of education to change lives. This is not a traditional teaching role — you will act as a facilitator of learning, guiding students through a blended, student-centered environment that combines technology, project-based learning, and real-world problem solving.

 Key Responsibilities

1.  Facilitate engaging lessons aligned with CAPS and Streetlight’s innovative curriculum
2.  Implement blended learning strategies (technology + teacher-led instruction)
3.  Support personalised learning pathways for each student
4.  Foster critical thinking, curiosity, and independent learning
5.  Track and analyse student progress using data-driven tools
6.  Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance teaching team
7.  Build strong relationships with learners, colleagues, parents, and the community

 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in FET Phase.

Experience teaching Grade 12 is an added advantage.

• Relevant teaching qualification

B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent (Valid SACE Certificate, Police clearance)

• Experience with blended learning / Ed-tech integration (advantageous)
