Role Description The Forklift Operator is a full-time, on-site role located in Western Region, Ghana. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts and related equipment to move, load, and unload materials within warehouses, yards, or production areas. Daily tasks include receiving and organizing shipments, transporting goods to designated storage locations, and preparing materials for dispatch. The Forklift Operator will work closely with shipping and receiving teams, follow established material handling procedures, and maintain accurate records of items moved. The role also involves performing basic equipment inspections, reporting safety concerns, and supporting packing and general warehouse activities as needed.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Forklift Operation skills, including safe driving, load handling, and basic equipment checks.
• Candidates should possess Shipping & Receiving skills, such as verifying documentation, organizing incoming and outgoing goods, and maintaining inventory records.
• Candidates should possess Unloading and Material Handling skills, including lifting, sorting, stacking, and moving materials efficiently and safely.
• Candidates should possess Packing skills, including preparing items for shipment, labeling, and following packaging standards.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of warehouse safety practices, ability to follow instructions and work in a team, basic numeracy and record-keeping skills, and prior experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
• A valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one, and the ability to work on-site in Western Region, Ghana, are required.
