Finance Operations Specialist

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

• Prepare Net Revenue reports, OPEX journals, and management accounts.
• Prepare consolidated Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports.
• Prepare monthly cash reports and aged receivables/payables analysis.
• Review bank statement tagging and perform own-transfer analysis.
• Maintain and roll forward key schedules, including OPEX and PPE schedules.
• Support the accuracy of the Trial Balance and General Ledger.

Reconciliations & Controls:

• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items.
• Maintain supporting schedules and reconciliation trackers.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for accounting entries.

Audit & Compliance:

• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Respond to auditor requests and information requirements.
• Maintain organized records to support year-round audit readiness.

Process Improvement:

• Support improvements to accounting processes and controls.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve reporting and reconciliation issues.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years' experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or finance operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or in progress).
• Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Exposure to audits and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.
