About ZimPro
Zimbabwe Project Trust (ZimPro) is a non-profit organisation committed to improving the lives of vulnerable communities through sustainable development programmes, advocacy, and strategic partnerships. The organisation seeks to recruit a dynamic, visionary, and results-oriented Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and drive organisational growth.

Position Summary
The Executive Director will provide overall strategic, operational, financial, and programmatic leadership to ZimPro. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Trustees, staff, development partners, government, and other stakeholders to advance the organisation's mission and ensure long-term sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and oversee the implementation of the organisation's strategic plan.
- Lead programme development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Mobilise resources through donor engagement, fundraising, and partnership development.
- Ensure sound financial management, accountability, and compliance with statutory and donor requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government, civil society, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor staff while promoting a high-performance organisational culture.
- Advise and report to the Board of Trustees on organisational performance and strategic issues.
- Represent ZimPro at national, regional, and international forums.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

- A Master's degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior management within the development or non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, programme management, financial oversight, and resource mobilisation.
- Proven ability to engage donors, government, and development partners.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of Zimbabwe's development landscape and the regulatory environment for civil society organisations.
