OVERVIEW:
KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named Jamaica Extended Support Services (“JESS”) operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).
JOB SUMMARY:
In this role, you will focus on defining and maintaining enterprise-level security architecture patterns and standards, with a significant emphasis on AI security and cloud platforms. You will lead initiatives to design secure architecture patterns for AI solutions, including enterprise AI platforms, agentic workflows, and cloud-hosted services, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align with security strategies and strategic direction. Your expertise in information security and architectural frameworks will guide efforts to analyze security risks and recommend compensating control alternatives. You will manage enterprise security reference architectures and develop reusable design guardrails to support secure technology decisions and enable the business adoption of emerging technologies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Apply a thorough knowledge of information security, enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, identity, data protection, application security, and AI security to define enterprise-level security architecture patterns, standards, reference models, and design guidance
Serve as an internal trusted advisor providing enterprise AI security architecture guidance across multiple technical domains to technology, security, and business teams, explaining security risk trade-offs and identifying compensating control alternatives
Design secure architecture patterns for AI solutions, including AI-enabled applications, enterprise AI platforms, agentic workflows, model integrations, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-hosted or SaaS-based AI capabilities
Develop and maintain enterprise security reference architectures, control patterns, technical standards, reusable design guardrails, architectural decision frameworks, and implementation guidance to support secure technology decisions
Collaborate with engineering, cloud, identity, data, privacy, legal, risk, compliance, cyber operations, and product teams to align AI-related technology decisions with enterprise security strategy and regulatory expectations
Monitor emerging trends, threats, attack patterns, and control models related to AI and cybersecurity, participating in internal skills development and providing technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to team members

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant practical experience in security architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud security, application security, AI security, cybersecurity engineering, or related technology security roles
Experience designing and securing solutions in complex and regulated enterprise environments, including the ability to define pragmatic security controls, evaluate risk trade-offs, develop compensating control alternatives, and integrate security requirements into architecture and solution design.
Technical expertise across multiple domains including AI security, cloud computing, application architecture, identity and access management, data security, infrastructure security, endpoint security, SaaS security, DevSecOps, secure software development, and emerging technologies is preferred
Demonstrated ability to define and document enterprise security standards, reference architectures, control baselines, reusable architecture patterns, technical guardrails, and implementation guidance that support consistent and scalable secure technology delivery
Understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementation models, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containerized workloads, serverless services, and enterprise cloud-native architectures across multiple public cloud providers
Solid verbal/written communication, problem-solving, analytical, and independent judgement skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
JESS uses a hybrid work model, allowing staff to work from home in Jamaica or in the office. Employees must be in the office at least five days per month, with more days possible if required by business needs.
You are expected to use KPMG-approved Generative AI tools to support your daily work tasks.
Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
