Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital growth, customer-acquisition, sales, renewal, and retention strategies.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with fintechs, payment platforms, e-hailing companies, e-commerce businesses, digital lenders, telecommunications companies, and other digital platforms.
  • Prepare partnership proposals, business cases, financial projections, commercial offers, and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate partner negotiations, due diligence, onboarding, system integration, testing, product launch, and performance reviews.
  • Work with relevant teams to develop simple, affordable microinsurance products embedded within partner platforms and customer journeys.
  • Manage digital sales campaigns and monitor enrolment, premium collection, policy activation, conversion, renewal, and profitability.
  • Supervise the IT team, set priorities and service standards, and monitor performance and incident resolution.
  • Ensure the availability and effective maintenance of systems, networks, applications, digital platforms, and other requisite infrastructure.
  • Coordinate technology vendors, API integrations, cybersecurity, data protection, backups, and business-continuity arrangements.
  • Analyse digital sales, partnership, customer, and system-performance data and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare management reports and escalate significant commercial, operational, technology, and compliance risks.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of an HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
  • A master's degree is an advantage
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in digital business, partnerships, technology management, fintech, insurance, e-commerce, or financial services.
  • Experience supervising IT personnel or coordinating infrastructure, digital integrations, technology vendors, and related projects.
  • Strong knowledge of digital sales, partnership development, data analysis, project coordination, cybersecurity, and data protection.
  • Excellent commercial, leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • System availability and transaction-success rates.
